Colorado Heat Pump Tax Credits
- Customers do not need to file any paperwork to receive the discount since the tax credit is claimed by the installing contractor.
- Minimum discount for Air-Source heat pumps: $499.95
- Minimum discount for ground-source, water-source, or combined-source heat pump: $999.90
- Minimum discount for Heat pump water heater: $166.65
Xcel Energy Heat Pump Rebates
Rebates available for qualifying residential equipment installation. The following equipment is eligible for rebates.
- Heat pump, ducted or partially ducted with Quality Installation
- Cold Climate Heat Pump ducted or partially ducted with Quality Installation Rebate
- Ground Source Heat Pump with Quality Installation Rebate
- Heat pump (HP), non-ducted
- Cold Climate Heat pump, Non-ducted
Power Ahead Colorado Heat Pump Rebates
Mighty Pine is a participating Power Ahead Colorado contractor. Save $1,500 when you upgrade to a qualifying cold climate heat pump, and combine it with Xcel Energy and other utility or local rebates to save even more.
- Ducted and ductless (mini split) cold climate air-source heat pumps that meet ENERGY STAR cold climate standards qualify
- Available for existing homes and buildings in participating Denver-metro communities (new construction is not eligible)
- We submit your project for preapproval before work begins, so you know your rebate amount up front
- After installation and final review, the rebate is paid within about 60 days
